Serving estimates assume a round cake about 4 inches tall, cut into 1½ × 2-inch party portions. Larger slices serve fewer guests. We’ll confirm serving counts for your cake’s height, layers, and design.
Custom decorations, fillings, added layers, fondant pieces, and tiered designs are quoted individually. Guest count and serving style help us recommend the right size.
CAKE ORDERING DETAILS
Please place cake orders at least 1 week before pickup. Availability is confirmed directly with The Alley.
2 weeks or more before pickup: a 50% deposit is required. Less than 2 weeks before pickup: payment in full is required.
Deposits are non-refundable. Cancel at least 1 week before pickup to receive deposit credit toward your next order. Cancel less than 1 week before pickup and the deposit is forfeited.

Absolutely—send your inspiration along with your text or email inquiry, or bring it to a conversation at the café. We’ll talk through how to make the design personal to your celebration.
Choose “Help me choose” in the planner. Tell us your guest count and how you plan to serve the cake, and we’ll recommend a size and discuss any added layers.
Round cakes begin at the prices shown above. Size, filling, added layers, detailed decorations, fondant work, and tiered designs affect the final quote. We’ll discuss the details and price with you before confirming your order.
